USCIS Redesign Green card and Employment Authorization Document
Redesigned USCIS Immigration Documents
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has recently redesigned the Green Card (Form I-551) and the Employment Authorization Document (Form I-766) with enhanced security features to prevent counterfeiting and fraud. The new design includes updated graphics, text, and background patterns, as well as the addition of embedded holographic images, micro-printed lines, and unique barcodes. The redesign is part of USCIS's ongoing efforts to improve the integrity and security of its immigration documents. Note that the older versions of the Green Card and Employment Authorization Document are still valid and will continue to be accepted by government agencies and financial institutions until they expire.
