He also stated that their new satellites will be manufactured using advanced 3D printing techniques in order to reduce the production time and cost.In addition to reducing production time and cost, using advanced composite materials and 3D printing for spacecraft parts could help to improve the quality of the finished product. Another benefit is the ability to quickly and easily modify parts if needed. SpaceX is also exploring the use of new propulsion systems and advanced guidance and navigation systems that could make their spacecraft even more efficient and capable.
